HUMAN RIGHTS
INTRODUCTION
Protecting Human Dignity. Advancing Universal Rights. Human rights are universal, indivisible, interdependent, and inalienable. They belong to every person, everywhere, without distinction of any kind. At the Confederation for Democracy and Human Rights (CDDH), we are committed to promoting, protecting, and advancing the full spectrum of internationally recognised human rights through evidence-based action, strategic advocacy, research, education, institutional engagement, and international cooperation. The Human Rights Programme serves as a cornerstone of CDDH's mission to build democratic, inclusive, and rights-respecting societies. Guided by the principles of equality, dignity, justice, non-discrimination, and accountability, the programme works to ensure that every individual can enjoy their rights and fundamental freedoms without fear of discrimination, violence, persecution, or exclusion. Our work addresses civil, political, economic, social, cultural, and emerging human rights issues while promoting the implementation of international human rights standards at national, regional, and global levels. Through policy dialogue, documentation, capacity building, monitoring, advocacy, and partnerships, we support governments, public institutions, civil society organisations, academic institutions, international organisations, and local communities in strengthening respect for human rights. By combining research, advocacy, education, institutional reform, and international engagement, the Human Rights Programme contributes to building societies where human dignity is respected, equality is guaranteed, justice is accessible, and the rights of every individual are protected and fulfilled
