Introduction
Advancing Human Rights Through Action The Confederation for Democracy and Human Rights (CDDH) works to advance human rights, strengthen democratic governance, uphold the rule of law, and protect the dignity of individuals and communities worldwide. Through evidence-based programmes, strategic partnerships, and international engagement, we promote practical solutions that address today's human rights challenges while contributing to more just, peaceful, and inclusive societies. Our work is organised around five complementary divisions that reflect our holistic approach to promoting human rights, preventing violations, supporting victims, strengthening institutions, and shaping public policy. Together, these divisions bring research, advocacy, protection, education,accountability, and innovation into a single institutional framework that responds to both immediate needs and long-term structural challenges. Across all our programmes, CDDH collaborates with governments, civil society organisations, national human rights institutions, regional and international organisations, academic institutions, development partners, and affected communities. We believe that sustainable progress is achieved through cooperation, evidence-based action, respect for human dignity, and a shared commitment to justice.
